How does it work?
Coaching is a conversation and journey like no other. As your coach I will work with you to provide a safe, non judgemental and supportive environment to explore areas of your life which you feel are controlled by your chronic illness. We will identify areas that you feel stuck in, unhappy with or need to gain clarity and confidence in. It is your time to let the real you come out – still with a chronic illness but not controlled by it. This can be both thrilling and confronting for many people. It is your chance to challenge your limiting self beliefs about what is possible whilst discovering your full potential – and then developing a plan to reach it. Who wouldn’t want that?
Coaching is conducted on a one on one basis either face to face at a cafe, workplace or park, or over the phone or Skype. This flexibility means that I can work with people in different cities and time zones, however face to face sessions are currently only being offered in Melbourne, Australia. Each session goes for one hour, and all coaching is completely confidential. Your first coaching session will be complimentary, to ensure that you feel completely comfortable with me as your coach before you make any commitment.
In the sessions, I will ask you questions, create space for reflection and use a variety of frameworks and models to assist you to get where you want to be. The journey will empower you to have the conviction and courage to make the necessary changes in your life so that you live a life you love and are not being defined by your chronic illness. I am committed to travel this journey with you so that you will not be alone to navigate this new pathway of discovery. I will support you, champion you, challenge you and genuinely be there for you every step of the way, enabling you to take the next step and then the next.
